:: Location
The heart of the city is the Old Town and its central square. In the 11th century the settlements around the Castle spread to the right bank of the Vltava. A market-place in what is now Old Town Square (Staromestské námestí) was mentioned for the first time in 1091. Houses and churches quickly sprang up around the square, determining the random network of streets, many of which survive to this day. The area gained the privileges of a town in the 13th century, and, in 1338, a Town Hall. This and other great buildings, such as Clam-Gallas Palace and the importance of the Old Town. For your stay in Prague you can choose from our 130 spacious smoking and non-smoking rooms and suites which are designed to provide all comfort to our guests. The rooms are equipped with individual climate control air-conditioning, personal safe, 1 telephone line, data cable with high speed internet connection, satellite TV, mini-bar, hair-dryer, iron and ironing board. For our guests' safety, there are fire detectors on the ceiling and stoppers fixed on the windows in every room. There are also interleading rooms and family suites composed of two bedrooms sharing a common entrance hall. The hotel also offers two disabled rooms which can be used by handicapped or senior travelers.

:: Vltava Restaurant
The spacious and beautifully decorated dining room has a panoramic view of the Vltava river and its surroundings. The menu offers international cuisine with regional flavours. Lunch time is prime for groups. Vltava Restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner, but lunch for individual clients can be arranged on request as well. Apart from a la carte menu, special menus for the groups can be prepared if ordered in advance.

Piano Bar has a warm and intimate atmosphere with live piano music every evening where everybody can have a rest after a busy and successful day. Wide selection of cocktails and premier wines & champagnes are available.

:: Meeting Rooms
President Hotel offers 5 meeting rooms which are suitable both for business events and for private purposes. Another meeting room (El Greco) is situated on the Executive Floor and is at full disposal of the guests staying on our Executive Floor. The largest of our meeting rooms can be divided into two smaller rooms, and up to 190 persons can be seated there in the theatre style. Our meeting rooms are named after famous Spanish painters.
